wrong section, belongs in the EF/EF-S lens section not the archives but putting that aside, there are extension tubes that you can get, I have heard Kenko makes good ones, that will lower your lenses minimum focusing distance, allowing better macro without paying an arm and a leg for a separate macro lens

I took this today w/ a kit lens and macro ring. It's tricky getting it in focus, and the AF is useless, but it's still fun...

@ F20 ! yes the pop up flash in the Rebel is cabable of 1/200, F22, iso 100 ! but you need to increase the flash power index to atleast +1 in the spider case
it's fully AF btw ! but i prefere manual focus when using my kenko tubes

Is it possible to use Sigma 50mm with tubes for macro shot? Just wondering?

ofcourse as long as its canon mount(EF or EFS), but be aware that the old kenko tubes didnt support the EFS lenes, i mean supporting the AF ofcourse
in Ebay you might fine cheap plastic tubes with no connectors, these will mount any lens but with no possible AF what so ever
just get your self a kenko set, 3 pieaces(36,24, and 12) putting them in any combination with full AF !
i personally tried it with the 50 nifty, kit lens 18-55, and the 55-250, worked on all just perfectly the same as attaching them directly AF wise ::lol:
