Hi,

I would like to know if someone have tried the Crystalvue 8X32 on S30/S40 or S45. I would like to know if it is easy to use and if the results are good.
Do you have any pictures or comments to share about it?

Thanks

Supposedly, that one's better than the kenko, because the threads are right on the lens, but as far as some sample pics, no one's piped up and posted anything yet. Kinda sad too, because I've seen posts saying "I just recieved my CrystalVue sharpshooter and...(blah blah blah)" Posts like that make me think they just signed up in this forum for some quick advice, but had no intention of sharing their own results. Best of luck in finding some s30/40/45/50 results with this lens. When you do, be sure to post any sample photos!

I bought it and while it is awesome, you HAVE to use a tripod. All in all I wound up using my macro lens a lot more often. I guess it depends on what kind of photos you want to take. The focusing is impossible without a hoodman or plastic bag to shield the sun from your digital viewfinder. I will try to post some pictures soon.
