That 300 is a great lens for Bighorns, especially on a 1.6 crop body like your 50D. Nice sharp image!

Actually, they have a look in their eyes that was a prelude to a little head bashing shortly after this picture... here's an example of what can happen during a fight (check out the injury to the left side of this ram's face).
