My friend picked me up today cause he needed someone to accompany him on a meetup to sell some sneakers to some guy in NYC. I decided to bring along my camera. We ended up walking the Brooklyn Bridge for the first time. Stupid me LEFT MY TRIPOD in my car. So all of these were shot using a pack of cigarettes propped up on some sort of stationary object. Let me know what you think. Also I'm not sure if it's me but I think my Tokina 12-24 might be a little soft?

I really like #3 and 5; creative use of surroundings and perspective.

I don't know about the lens overall; it looks like it may have had a hard time grabbing AF in that light, but that could just be the conditions.

Lol for #5 I was physically lying on the ground. Good thing it wasn't too busy on the bridge!

I was shooting in manual focus set to infinity I think. Any other ideas? I think I read somewhere that the Tokina has some issues with night shots.

If you're shooting manually like that, try backing the focus down just a HAIR from the infinity mark on the lens. I've found that full-on "infinity" on my lenses tends to leave anything inside of about 200 yards slightly OOF.

Nice; it's always fun to get shots like that. I managed some road level shots on one of our bridges a few years ago due to stopped traffic for it to open. :)

Nicely done.
Your cigarettes must have been crushed by the end of the night!
