If anyone's looking for me, I'll be that that guy's place. *points up* ;)
I may be completely biast because of my love for both jeeps and 4x'ing, but I just love these pics. They should (almost) be in a "JeepSporting" mag!
#1 is my favorite.

Nailer,
How many rigs where towed to Johnson or did you swap out the tires once there?
Picture one looks like the spot I spot welded an broken axel to pull it out.
Traded up from Nikon to Canon to get those good picturees you took...nice rigs!
Johnson Valley good place to break things!

the red jeep is mine, and i drive it to and from the trail. i just make sure to have enough spare parts to take care of most problems on the trail.
the black jeep is also driven to and from the trail. this and mine keep these 35" goodyear mt/r tires on at all times.
the other 2 are trailered.
as far as breaking things in johnson valley.... if there is a weak link on your jeep.. those trails will find it. when running those trails, you are EXPECTED to have body damage, and a high liklihood of drivetrain breakage.
preparedness is KEY, as i am sure you well know.
i am leaving tomorrow morning for the rubicon. i'll be taking plenty of pictures.
nice to see another jeeper. :)
by the way, britain... have a look at www.myjeeprocks.com for a primarily california jeep message board. [ i hope it is ok to mention another forum. (non-camera related) on this forum]
