Hi y'all,

Just joined the forum today and wanted to introduce myself. I'm definitely an amateur. Have taken mostly snapshots for the last 30 years. Now I'm trying hard to improve on both the actual photography as well as post processing with Aperture. C&C is much appreciated. I certainly need the help.

The gear is just a 350D with a 10-22/3.5-4.5. All the EXIF data is on the linked flickr pages. There was a tiny bit of post processing on these two. Can't remember exactly what I did now, but I'll be happy to check in Aperture if anyone's curious. :)

Here's Miss Aurora!

Thanks so much for taking the time to look.

Peace!

She is a cutie! I can't offer much on the technical side, I'm a newbie too!

Welcome to the forum, nice pics, I like the first one. I'm just nit picking but I would clone out the red thing on the right and the white plastic thing on the left, so that it is just the wood. But that's a big nit pick.

Enjoy the forum, it's a great place.

Ooops! That's a great catch Derrick! I missed it when I cropped... :) You're definitely right - it distracts. Thank you so much for the input. :)

Peace!
