Another wasp close-up with my G3

Sorry to post another wasp, but I am amazed by what I can
get with my G3 with no additional lens , just using the super
macro mode.

As BE said, this is an awesome shot, very impressive. I too am impressed by what people can do with a G3. Specifically, I've seen quite a few super macros that you posted and those really impressed me. Thanks for sharing and I guess you just need to work harder with you new 350D to get to the same standard;) ;) .

yeaaahhh.. great shot. kinda annoys me sometimes that camera's with super-macro mode can kill anyshot i can take.... ohwell. How close did you have to get to take that?

Stunning shot. I wonder if i could do something similar with my G6. One day, when people start trading in their older G-series, I plan to buy some at a good price and do some IR conversion. I am though, quite tempted to show this to my father since he has the G3.

I get about 2 inches from bees and never get such a lovely shot. That is one of the best I have ever seen. The colours - purple and yellow! and the clarity is fantastic. I love the eyes of your bee, JoseC. beautiful!
