Ok I have an account at SM but I really can't for the life of me build a website from SM. So was looking at showit and it looked really easy and downloaded the free trial version and it seemed really easy to do. I can spend hours and hours self instructing myself on building a website but I'm over my head and I dont want to pay someone to do it.
So is it worth it keeping sm for proof/gallery and getting showit for the website? Or just do showit alone without SM?
Opinions/feedbacks needed please!!!
Thank you

Ok nevermind my smugmug question. I just want to know whether photobiz or showit is a better option for hosting my website and both seem to be really ez to do. Which one is better for its $$? And I need feedbacks from anyone whos experienced one or both. Thanks!

Not sure. I haven't looked into SHowit. I'm assuming it's relatively expensive, especially compared to Photobiz.
There's a forum called Open Source Photo that is run by the maker of Showit, David Jay (correct me if I'm wrong) and they answer all kinds of questions there about Showit.

I've got a showit site and I love it. Super easy to set up and change and customise, there are loads of incredible showit sites out there so if you've got the time and a flair for design your options are virtually limitless. I'm based in Australia so don't get the advantage of integrating through Smugmug for sales, but it looks pretty straight forward to host your images on smugmug and present them through showit (although hosting in showit is totally fine if you're not selling them online).

I have a lot of customization companies that can customize your SmugMug site to look and feel like your ShowIt site for fairly cheap! The integration between ShowIt and SmugMug is so killer.
If you want me to give you some company suggestions on customization options PM me. I think you will be surprised at how far the price has come down for customization over these years.
