How would you rate this shot? Can i improve anything? Should i do anything different?

Lighting can be, I think, improved .

Very expensive looking, but it's about 18minutes slow.

very nice shot, i would also suggest improving the lighting a bit, maybe a highlight of the face, would make it stand out. just a thought.

Nice shot. Agree with everyone, lighting could be improved. Watch macro is indeed one of the hardest to do. A lot of times, the reflection from the glass kills the entire shot.

it is a nice shot,would a light tent work for this ? i dont know its just a thought.

Thanks for all the comments, that really helps. About lighting what do you recommend? What kind of lights... Is there something i can build myself or is it more like studio lighting...

I would light the face of the watch more.

for a watch product shot, the hour/minute/second hands and all the little dials are usually carefully placed to accentuate the layout. i think traditionally it's at 10:10:30; but maybe different with a watch such as yours that has many little additional dials.

Cool, i didn't know that. Ill keep that in mind when i take pics of other watches in the future... Thanks
