#1 like it, pp out the bench
#2 needs more contrast, a stick coming out of his head
#3 needs even more contrast, over exposed slightly maybe.
#4 where is he looking, maybe he's in pain because of the stick in the back of his neck?
#5 not bad, good light, some minor distractions however.
#6 like it except the stick coming out of his head.
#7 Looks like they're saying goodbye, and the flash is too strong
#8 Not bad needs a bit more contrast.

Generally though good photos.

number 1 is very nice with the natural pose of the couple.

Thanks, for the feedback... you're right.... I should go back and get rid of the branches in some of those shots. The low contrast, however, was on purpose... to get the hazy/flared effect... not for everyone, I know... but I, and my clients love it :)

number 1 is very nice with the natural pose of the couple.
thank you

holy flash on number 7!

is number 3 processed that way on purpose, or is that the sun?

yea, flash was bright, I know....damn snow is so reflective... It was totally pointing away from them.
Well, #3 was already hazy from the sun, so I just gave it a little more flare, for that romantic feel. I'm a fan of hazy/ sunny shots.... they're not for everyone.

I think #3 is my favorite, funny how everyone sees things different.

all need tighter crops. #5 is my fav if you didn't cut him in half.

all are over exposed and flaring like crazy, which I like :-)

I find it odd that a lot of "photographers" think shots into the sun are over exposed and lacking contrast but the clients always love them. Whenever I have posted shots like these to a public forum I get the same type of feedback. Proper exposure is measured under the eye on your primary subject so it looks to me like you have pretty much nailed the exposure on all of these. The lens flair/sun haze was handled very well on all of these. its always tough to decide how much contrast to keep in the hazy shots but I like how you have executed them.

I'm not a huge fan on the framing on some of these (generally just too much head room) but the lighting for the most part is quite pleasing.

Lighting was good in most of these and for what looks to be a chilly day, your couple don't look like they are freezing :) I really like number 5. The framing is very interesting and looks very natural. I'm sure the couple was delighted.

I agree... some of the crops are a bit loose.... I tend to do that subconsciously, especially in the top region... some of these, however, were done intentionally (like 2 & 3) to get the direction of the sun in the shot, so that there's a reason for the haze. #6 is the best example of a poor crop on my part. Will fix that.
