Cats move really fast - I should have made the the shutter speed faster than 1/500 or possibly slower to emphasize movement.
That's my cat, Snickers taking the beating from his brother... (but I think he delivered a few hits too). They hadn't seen each other in a long while and there were some territorial disagreements to settled :)

Thanks for the feedback. Well, radial blur usually works in pics like these, so I tried that and switched the pic in my gallery. What do you think? The new pic may not show because of browser cache, so I'm attaching it here:
