First off, here is my original attempt with all the brilliant feedback I got.

Having taken that on board, I tried it again and came up with:

I've learnt more from the second shoot, and I think it's better attempt than the first one!

As always, please can I have your feedback and comments!

looks great! But I'm not a fan of the snake looking thing coming out of her chest on the far left of the picture, :)

Camera Settings:

Expose for the scene
Manual mode - so the camera settings don't change
MF with a large Depth of Field (F8 or smaller) - i have yet to master the shallow depth of field technique.

Photoshop

Use layers to bring all images in to one file, and then delete the part of each layer (that you don't want).

PS has an Auto Align function on some versions - it makes life easier but not essential (as the tripod will help alignment).

What does Auto Align do? It automatically merges all layers so you don't have to do anything like deleting?

Auto align, aligns the ;layers so you don't have to line up each layer individually. This can be time consuming, so the Auto align saves you a lot of effort and frustration.

Shizzle - I like it a lot. All 3 are great shots, so it work really well.

On a very minor point: The shadows are a little confusing though. On the far left, the shadow falls to the right and the rest fall to the left - I prefer even lighting to give the image the real wow factor (which I've yet to achieve).

I have to say the colour popping kinds distracts from the overall image (not to my thing!).

Well I did the auto align and they came out perfect except for one layer where it came out faded & the opacity was at 100%

I've not experienced that myself. Did you try it again and can you repeat the result?

hi sunny...the shadows are confusing a bit... i didnt notice it until now... but i didnt have much time to take this shot...i just kinda left one camera on a tripod as well as shooting this as different poses with another camera....

i couldnt find my original image to post on here.. i only had the final one on my computer....and the client had requested that selective colouring thing...which personally i hate...its a real cheap trick and doesnt go well in a wedding album at all... i think personally!

Yeah, I just tried twice on the same set of pictures. I'm probably going to try later.

Very nice shot. Well done.

I do have a few comments. I think if you vary the height positions, you'll create more interest. I liked how you "zoned off" the images but my eye draws the leftmost guy with the middle girl.
