I posted this at my site last night. For those interested, there is a center crop test, left edge test, and also some bokeh shots. Hopefully I can post some more images in the coming days. Feel free to comment at my site too:

Well your test is a little flawed. Your only decent size images were of only the Sigma. And the ones that had both brands were too small to see details. You really need to post images of the Canon at same appetures, under the same conditions as the Simga images i.e. distance to object lens, lighting, angle to lighting, etc. Or just do new test comparasion between the 2 brands.

I always find your tests so interesting. The difference in the 30mm and the 24-70mm is night and day even at the postage stamp size  Opening up the centre crop sample images to 'original size' it's clear the 30mm is a top notch performer in comparision to both, but the Canon seems to hold up at f5.6, though I'm looking on my laptop screen which isn't always the best idea.
Another great contribution ... thanks!

You have to remember with PBase you have to click "original" under the picture to get the full size picture for comparisons. I looked at the test and it looks like the new Sigma is a winner.
