View Full Version : Will Tiffen lens adaptor work on G2

Hi,
I've had my G2 for a couple of months now and would like to get a lens adaptor so I can use close up filters and others. I've seen that the Tiffen adaptor uses 43mm filters (I have some of those) and that it has the least impact on the flash coverage.
So my question is...if I go to Circuit City, which size or number Tiffen adaptor should I ask for?

It is called "Tiffen Canon G1/G2 Lens Adapter".
It has a 43mm tread at its front side to take the 43mm filters or the Tiffen 2x Teleplus lens.
I have it since one year. Got it from CircuitCity. No problems.

does the Tiffen adapter screw onto the camera body, or do you have to attach it to a Lensmate or something similar? also, how much did you pay for the adapter?

It screws to the camera body (no other tube or adapter required) it costs $19.95
