Spring Break Trip to Cuba

I quickly noticed a strong division in social class in Cuba, for example this man rummaging through garbage collecting bottles.

This photo was shot on our two hour drive to Havana, lots of interesting cars along on the way.

#1 not bad, simple b&w might be better than this off sepia., the focus is on the frame, not the boy in the frame.

#2 Focus on garbage can not the man, too much DOF.

#3 best of the lot IMO, a story being told here.

#1 is my favourite. I was in Cuba a number of years ago and one of the first things that struck me was how mad they are about their baseball. I think this shot tells a story of 'typical Cuban kids'. I like the sepia tone too.

#2 I also like with the guy raking the bins but agree with lundgrenj about the dof. Maybe a bit of fill light for the guy's face too?

#3 is okay, but my least favourite of the three.

First one is really great, both technically and subject-wise. You captured the scene really well. The natural framing adds much to it.
