Hi all

I googled all weekend searching for the perfect budget match (point and shoot + underwater housing) but found nothing really.

Basically i need a good responsive camera as fish don't tend to pose for too long. Maximum depth will be 35 maybe 40 meters. I really like the Sony P200 but it has no underwater case yet. I have no brand preferences and only mentioned the Sony to state the upper budget limit.

As far as the housing i prefer the Ikelite over the ones coming from the camera manufactures themselves. They seem more solid but i don't know if thats the case. My only light source will be a strong underwater flashlight. In time it would be great if the housing supports the possibility to attatch strobes etc.

Any recommendations, links? Any help will be appreciated!

There is an UW case almost for all the P&S Canons. I have an old Ixus 500 with the UW case and I'm perfectly happy with it (I will need an UW flash, thou). Take a look at the Canons, choose the one you like best, and chances are that they will have the UW case with ALL the controls available.
