This makes for a TALL order. My BG-E2 is so darn TALL, at least thirty percent taller than on my BP-300 battery grip. It all (sort of) fit in my Lowepro Computrekker, then I had to go and get the 3157N quick release Plate and screwed on the bottom of the battery pack. Now the whole thing is so TALL. Now, It really doesn't fit (barely did before) and I am needing some protective baggage for the Giant shu-bhang. Any ideas? What do all of you'z use?

I have the same set-up with the same bag and a quick release plate on the bottom of my BG-E2 also. What I do is keep the camera in the top area and when it goes in the bag I have it upside down so that the top of the camera has protection on the top because now the top is up against the back of the bag. Has done very well for me!! I know it has because I have dropped the bag on accident a few times (I'm a little clumsy sometimes)!!

That was really confusing, and I still don't understand how you are doing it. I wish you could take a pic.
