I've switched back from Nikon to Canon recently and notice the magenta tint in all the photos. I love Nikon color, but prefer my choices with Canon. Anyway, is there any way to fix the color so reds are warmer? I'm using the 50D, but am afraid to mess around with the color settings. I've tried to edit in DPP with my RAW files, but have failed miserably. I miss my truer reds. :( Thanks.

It's a pretty quick fix in Photoshop if you have that. Just use the Photo Filter and set it to the magenta setting.

Are you sure WB shift is set to zero? Whether it is or not, perhaps a small change will do the trick.

It's a custom function in my 30D, I imagine it is also in your 50D...

^Oh yeah, I forgot about that. You can fix it under WB SHIFT. It should be under the Custom WB option in the menu.

Thanks, guys. I will have to look into that Custom WB option. Cheers!
