this is from the toledo zoo.after my 3rd time going there,they were finally up and moving around.still had to wait them out to get the shot.

They are hard to photograph, even when in captivity. It's fantastic that zoos have large enclosures nowadays but a bugger when you want to photograph or even see some animals. Nice shot!

thanks witchy,i had prior opportunities to photograph them, but they was always laying down with their backs to me.it is a good thing these zoo's are giving them bigger enclosures.seems more humane

thanks lazy,i printed this one out at 8x10.it makes a beautiful photograph.even though it dont look like it on the web,it has dropped a few jaws.my mom couldnt take it out of her hands for 5 minutes.she loved it.maybe its a mom thing
