I know what you mean... seems like a fairly slow section.

As for the photos, nicely done. Looks like you had a good day to shoot!

Haha, I hear ya! the view/comment ration on this board is insane. This is definitely a very hit or miss section of the forum though...

For what it's worth, I really do think the shots are great. What kind of processing do you do? I really like your style... Is it mostly white balance and desaturation? I find myself going that cooler look lately as well...

well since i discovered the gradient map tool in CS4, it has changed my edititing style completely

edit > adjustments > gradient map

you have to decrease the opacity of the layer down to under 10%, just to get a feel for it, if you dont do this the gradient colors will completey take over your image....other than this, i do some desaturation, overlay, and dded noise...lol

nice, I'll have to give it a try. I usually just play around with a cooler WB and desaturation in lightroom then throw it into PS for a little overlay adjustment real low to give it some pop.

I usedto rely on LR alot, but once I got hold of CS4 I began experimenting and the flexibility it gives you is amazing, sk now I only use LR for crop adjustment....and doevertthig else on CS4
give it a try, I bet you'll be hooked!
