Last Friday I shot Pavement at The Palace. This was one of the first shows Pavement played since reforming after a 10 year hiatus.

looks like tough lighting...and SM's white shirt doesn't help matters!

6 is my pick (good comp w/ the stage lights framing him) and then 4.


did you get to stay for the show? I am certainly looking forward to their show here in Sept.

Thanks Tim. And yes the lighting was a challenge.

I stayed for a while (45 minutes or so) - they were very good at what they do but I was never a huge Pavement fan. The place was packed to the rafters so I opted for heading elsewhere where I could grab a beer and kick back to some good gutbucket rock n roll.

yeah, looks like you had tough lighting on this one richard. the show i shot was much nicer conditions. i love the outdoor bbq lighting on the ceiling :)
