I shot for the first time out of a boat today.
Wakeboarding and tubing.

First the wakeboarding. I shot in Sports mode with EOS 300D and Sigma 70-300 APO lens. Started with AI Servo on and that was not working. The spalshing water was wreaking havoc and I switched to manual which was still tough.

Depending on the sun's angle I got a lot of burnout on backgrounds.
Got a few good shots... and had loads of fun.

Looks like the kids were having a great time... shooting from a boat is easier than trying to nail them from the shore, if you are having a tough time focusing on the boat, switch the camera to manual focus
wakeboarding is made for photography, I have some shots that I really like of these guys, and some of the better riders can get some serious 'AIR'

Had some trouble with sun hot spots.
The boat continually changed directions.

Wouldn't it have been better to shoot Av?
