Headed down the highway to Valdez in September 04. Stopped to have lunch at a pull off and the clouds started to part. Shot this with my digital Rebel and the kit lens. Just the right place at the right time I guess. Didn't even know if the shot came out until I got home. Lightened up the trees a bit in PS.

Rich, I drove by that spot 4 times in July, 2004, but never got a clear shot of the mountains. I could see well enough to know they were fantastic, but not well enough to get a photo. Congratulations on your good work/fortune.
