Tried shooting Rugby for the first time today still going through all the pictures but wanted to show this one and get some feed back on it.

Looks like a nice shot but if you showed a slighter larger version you might get a few more views and responses!! Don't know much about Rugby except that it looks very painful!!

Where are in the pacific northwest? I recognize several of those players as my team mates from Tacoma. We try posting up pictures from our games on our web site. tacomarugby.com. There is a pretty active rugby community in the PNW, so there are lots of opportunities to take pictures. As far as the picture goes, I think its cropped a bit tight. I think you need a bit more under the feet. Aslo I think at the resolution you posted its a bit hard to see the details.

it was taken in whatcom co. using a 100mm-400mmL and that is the whole picure I have though learned to make my picures bigger sense I posted this one.

I like it. You should always try to show the face of the guy with the ball in rugby pics...walk round and round the field, take a few hundred pics and u will end up with 3 or 4 beauties.

Thank you for the advice this was my first time photograhping rugby my brother has played for years but I never made it to a game with the camera before. I hope to get more soon.
