I was doing some flight training today in a Piper Seneca. I flew from Palmerston North up to Gisborne, and the other dude flew back. It gave me some nice opportunities on the first bit of the return journey. The second bit wasn't as great, we were in clouds getting belted about a bit and we had some ice on the wings. Photo taking didn't get priority.

Beautiful landscapes! I need to get back to NZ - too beautiful for words.
A polarizer would help here to bring a little more punch to the colours.....but love these shots.

Lovely shots. You are gonna love the ability to fly when you like, getting great photos like these.

Yeah flying is awesome. I do have a licence, I'm just doing instrument training at the moment.
I agree with the polarizer comment, it would sure have helped, but I feel with the kit lens it'd just be annoying (the front rotates with focus).
Thanks for your comments
