This picture was taken 2 days ago at our creek. They were floating in the water. This picture has only been cropped.. Straight out of camera! settings were 1/1000, f5.6 Iso 800... what do you think?? kinda looks like a painting to me and really not sure if this is considered a good picture or not:rolleyes:

First off, they're daffodils. The image has low contrast. You don't want to blow out the whites in the flowers, so try darkening the water for more impact. Also, get them off center. If they're flowing downstream, crop of some of the upstream side so that it appears that they have somewhere to go.

They look like March lilies to me...I would crop it so the lilies aren't centered. Other then that, I like it. It's very calming to look at

I don't know why this photograph reminds me of some romantic movie, but it does. Looks like a screen capture after some sad scene with flowers floating down stream. Like the others said, the first thing I thought was to move them off center for the feel of travel, and everything else is gravy.
