First time portrait with 7D

This is my first time out shooting portraits with my 7D. C&C welcome and needed.

Looks very underexposed on my monitor from Safari but only a little underexposed in photoshop?

Make the eyes POP a little more?

Maybe try a different crop of the original, using thirds and align the centre of the face and eyes with the thirds.
