I was down at the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks in Seattle this morning taking exterior perspective shots when I was offered the chance to go into the Administration building built in 1915. I've been to the locks a zillion times in the 48 years I've lived here and always wanted to check it out. My 24-105 saved my bacon, as it gave me IS and focal range, the 5DII gave me ISO. They are a nice combo.

Looks great!

My house happens to be almost entirely orginal from 1973... including orange kitchen counters and orange carpets. Avocado colored toilets and a huge Cold War era world map & more. So I like seeing things frozen in time! Any other such pictures like this, post them, please...

Here are a couple more shots. The entry way lights are so cool IMO, globes on bronze fish. Anyway, thanks for checking these shots out, I love period stuff. Re: knocking down the window light, because I'm a rube at tweaking in PP, I try and get a balance that works.
