In Fernandina Beach, FL. This was shot around sunset at the city docks. I used EOS 20d with 17-40 L 1/6 at f4.
What do you think.

Thanks Bigun....

I love it. Conveys great atmosphere. Fernandina Beach is a favorite of mine anyway, as I grew up in Jacksonville. Still love to visit that area.

Not sure how long its been since you've been here, but Fernandina has changed alot in the last 10 yrs. Not the quiet fishing town it used to be. Thanks for looking..

I love it! It conveys serenity. And I think the use of sepia was a wise choice.

Thanks Kingsown I'll try the diff fstop next time I'm still learning how to help with DOF issues.

Liza Thanks for your kind comments. I played with it in ps elements and I really liked the sepia look as well..

I'm not sure extra DOF would be an improvement. To me, the image works really well because it's slightly soft, which supports the mood.

Thanks Sparker and cjm, I'm fairly new to photography and am still learning. I liked this shot because it felt like it transported you back in time. YOur right sparker I dont think the sharpness is that big of a deal for this type of pic. Thanks again for you comments..
