Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, but I know that several owners of the Canon DSLR cameras with video use the Zacuto Z-finder loupe for easier video focusing (in fact, it was on this forum that I learned about the Z-finder). I've been thinking about getting the Z-finder to use with my Mark IV so I've been reading and researching it quite a bit. The large majority of owners love the Z-finder, but there were some criticisms that the 3X magnification made it impossible to to see the whole image when looking through the Z-finder. In addition some complained that the 3x factor over-exaggerated the pixels when viewing (if using a lower resolution LCD). Well, I found out that Zacuto will be releasing a 2.5x Z-finder that they'll announce next week. It won't be available for purchase until 4/19 though. (I found all of this out by emailing Zacuto). Just thought I'd pass this info on.
