Trying something new

Tell me what you think! does it work or not?
I lit the background behind the chrysanthemum with a yellow gel, then lit the flower from above with flash and homemade diffuser.

A very nice pic if it were mine i would crop the bottom and the left hand side of it .
So that the centre of the flower is in the bottom corner.

Still a nice pic though;)

I like it. My suggestion would be to clone out the small spots and imperfections to make this a truly delicate and elegant shot.

I'll third the crop suggestion as that portion of the image is just a little too saturated and distracting. The center and out to the right you've really nailed, though!

I like the uncropped version better. Nice colours and framing. Very good!
