The first, although I'd like the face darkened just a tad.

I prefer the first but you don't give a reason for asking. The second subject in the first shot would work just as well and the second shot with the first subject would not work just as well. Hope that makes sense.
I like the dynamic nature of the first. It has energy and an unusual angle of view. The trees are distracting but you don't see them first.

Both are nice shots but I like the first better. It would be much more powerful without the trees in the background though.

The trees in the background relate to the girls hair. no one notices ;(

I actually really like number 2... in the first one I'm distracted by the background.

Yes I see it now with the tree on the far left. If you had positioned the girl so as to just have that one tree on one side and her on the other then it would look like you intended the tree to be there and therefore it must have significance to the picture. Then viewers would look for that significance and see it. As it is the other trees don't contribute to that.

#1...with a different posing of the legs and less hair in her face.

#2 is much better, #1 the face is a little too hot and there is a lot going on in the background.. I would like to see a little more shallow of a DOF..
Good effort.
