Have been playing around with using LightRoom, have edited the picture below, let me know what you think, also any other alterations i could have made, or shouldn't have made.
I know it's easy to go too far with eyes, but what's the best way to make her eyes sparkle a bit more using Lightroom?

You've mostly saved an underexposed photo, so thats not bad. But since you started out underexposed, its probably too much to bring the eyes around.

Really good save on a priceless time.I did try the eyes, just a little dodge, and slight sharp..makes a little difference in clarity anyways:D

I'd rather see the baby food goop around her face as they are (or keep as much as possible). Part of the joys (and travails) of taking care of babies is the 'art' they create on their faces at each feeding - they're precious mess. If you want a shot of a baby with a cleaned-up face, you'd do so prior to taking a picture.
Cute girl,btw ;)

I would dial down the skin softening were the food is. Keep the mess in there. That is the whole point of these priceless pictures ! Although I can say you have plenty of years of messy faces to come :lol:

Perhaps a tad too much processing on the skin...and it has a bit too much red in the skin tones. But otherwise, not bad!

Thanks for all the comments, very constructive.
@jeffro250 how would you reduce the red in the skintones in LightRoom, altering the red luminance bar?
Only just found the soften skin technique i like, don't want to overdo it though.
@flo, you must have done more than just the eyes? It looks loads better!!
Need to take some more pictures now!

Basically the soften skin adjustment just turns the clarity all the way down. Use the effect and the play with the clarity slider until things look just about right.
