Varitek and Ramirez first post Red Sox

I went to the Phillies Red Sox game a couple of weeks ago.I have a canon 300D with a 75mm-300mm zoom.I sat in the 28th row in left feild.Tell me what you think

Nice sharp pictures. Looks like you had decent sets.

Usually, though, shots of the back of athletes aren't too highly-valued (other than the back of a basketball player hitting the winning basket with the game clock showing 0.1 seconds on top of the backboard ;) ) . Try to get their faces, and it'll be a lot more compelling.

I might be insane but I love the back of the jersey shot.I want to get some closer shots of them and i'm going to Fenway in September.Im sitting 40 rows behind the 3rd base dugout.I have a 75-300mm zoom lense now.Any recomandations on a bigger zoom lense for closeups?? I was gonna buy the 2x tameon teleconvertor to increase the zoom..Opinions welcome

great color.... your getting great results out of your set. as to the 2x... you camera will stuggle at best and most likely not focus at all with it - but if you are good at manual focus - then your good to go. I avoid them and stick to 1.4x converters. but that is just a personal preference. I have seen some really nice shots with even stacked converters - so it can be done. Cheers.

I used to have Season Tickets to the Orioles. At everygame where the Yankees were in town "Yankees Suck" T-Shirts. It is a forced thing, you must hate them if you are from Baltimore / are a Baltimore Fan.

By the way, I do believe an Oriole won the MVP this allstar game, not a Yankee, and I do believe a certian MLB team from Baltimore is higher in the standings than Yankees..

Where those pictures taken at Citizen Bank Park? I have season tickets to the Phillies now, I see a few people with L lenses in the stands at games I goto. I now look and dream of one day being one of those people.
