Hi...I took advantage that the kids had decided to spend Sunday with their boring mom and dad, and got them to pose for me.
This is Xavier. I'll show you the ones I took of Ximena when I finish processing them.
How do you like these?

Costa Rica or the United States... it doesn't seem to matter where you are, the attitude of a teenage boy just shows in his eyes and his expression. Great shots... how did you bribe him to pose at all? I'd have better luck trying to pull my teenager's teeth out with pliers than to get him to formally pose for me.

It looks like the way you got him to pose for you may have involved more of the stick than the carrot. :) Luckily mine is still only 11 months old, so he can't sabotage my efforts with a scowl just yet. Nice pictures despite the apparent lack of enthusiasm from the model.

Oh, and I got my 50mm f/1.8 today. I bought it partly based on your glowing comments. Something like "worth its weight in gold." So far so good. :)

His expression mirrors that of my 13-year-old. Very nicely done!

Haha ... I think the expression 'boring dad' comes straight from his mouth, not from yours

Aah, the joys of being a father...

Just take him on one of your shoots with those attractive young girls, he'll find photography more interesting

Best regards,
Andy

Andy

I bet he would !!!! ;)

BTW...he was not too bored by the shoot (well ...at least at the beginning), his expression is just his idea of a 'cool" posing :D
