I like the image and I like the subject, but I must not understand...

Why stitch together 17 pics of what appears to be a rather small structure
that can easily be captured with a single shot? Kudos on the structure appearing
perfectly straight & level while the front walk is severely barrel distorted,
but the process honestly escapes me.

That is a lovely Picture and building! Really like the clouds too. I love doing panoramic s too, but I'm wondering why 17 pictures for the building? I'm just curious. By the way greetings from Riverside, Ca, that's where I'm from too! =)

Thanks AcidBurn003.

The structure is probably 100' across. On the sidewalk using a 17mm lens I could only get maybe half the building. I took 3 rows, 5 in the top, then 6 each middle and bottom to have overlay. In the foreground it's normal to get warp on something that close. I used AutoPano Pro, pretty much a seamless panoramic program. Even the flags have no overlay or doubling. Hell I like it! ;-)

Thanks for that explanation, Dave. Makes much more sense to me now!

That makes since. Thanks for the explanation. You did a wonderful job with the seamless stitching! =) That's what i had a hard time with until i found a better program than the one that came with the camera. lol. I love the clouds in the sky too.

Also I was only 30' away from the front of the building when I took this.
