there is not nearly enough visible wear and tear on that powershot... it should be clear plastic all over. Tt should also no longer function, i want to see missing covers and buttons.
congrats on the upgrades :)

How are you liking the 7d compared to the 5d so far? I have a 20d that I'm thinking about upgrading... =]

lol thanks!
the powershot's strap is pretty worn. the on/off button is quite loose. I put the spurs to that thing the day I got it and never looked back ;)

Yeah sorry same question but I meant 50d. That's what midterms do to your brain.

I know the feeling. been there bro.
between the two, I prefer the AF of the 7D. hands down, its much better at tracking. plus you have a semi-clear VF until you press the shutter button, then the focus points show up. that said, the VF on the 50D is just about the same as my 30D and 40D, so the adjustment is seamless for me.
build wise, the 7D feels heftier, more solid, plus i like the spring-loaded doors. it took a bit of adjustment from the 40D to the 7D (I got the 50D after I got the 7D) but it wasnt that hard for me as Im used to the way Canon organizes their controls.
you shouldnt have any problem adjusting to a 7D. :D
