Well as some of you know, I just got my DRebel on Wednesday! I haven't really had time to play with it until tonight but I'm learning!

Here's a picture I took outside. I know the straight on headlight is distracting, but what else would you guys suggest I do next time? Should I not shoot cars head on when going for these car light trails?

I'm open to all suggestions!

A little PS work will take care of the bright headlight, & also fix the building thats falling over. ;-)
Or, you could avoid that by keeping the cam back straight up & down. (A level against the lens shade will help with that, too.)
When you learn a bit more about PS, you could take an even longer exposure to get some more detail in the background & blend it into the light trails exposure. See the "Stickys" for info on how to do that.
Keep at it! It does get easier! ;-)
