We call 'em pigeons. This Columba livia, or rock dove, was foraging in the
parking lot at the Super WalMart yesterday evening.

I guess I got a little caried away with PS.

I like the effect in #2. ;)Thanks, CFC. I got carried away with the gaussian blur in #1.

#2 is largely a radial blur, taking pains not to blur out all of the asphalt as I did in #1.
Lots of healing brush and cloning out oil, tire tracks, food and gum from both.

it's a nice photo, i think the post processing in both really kills it... i would try a tighter crop and less of the silly effects. just my opinion....

I kinda prefer the original. There's something being said in the asphalt, gum, and tiremarks about the bird itself that is lost when it's removed.
