A continuation of my previous thread spotlighting my younger daughter.

Again, all C&C welcome.

Thanks,
Travis

She's truly adorable; does she have a page on Model Mayhem? :-D

The poses are great, but the first three are all kind of squinty. You might try finding a lighting situation where she's looking into shade, even if you place her in the sun.

The poses in 1 & 4 are my favorites.

BTW, I love the oversized sunglasses in both these and the other set. To me, they say "fun kid".

haha, i think she's also squinting in #4 but you just can't see it :)

Yeah, nice set, although I agree that the squinting is not the best look. I like the poses apart from #2 as it seems that she is sitting a little awkwardly and also the background is rather distracting.

I like the rim lighting caused by the sun coming from behind but feel that these shots could benefit from a little fill, perhaps a gold relector for outdoor portraits could be a wise investment. If you have no1 to hold it, you can simply prop it up against something, some tripod legs, a large rock or a chair from home for example.

#3 could have been great if it wasn't for the cropping off of her left knee on the right hand side, the background wall also has a distracting horizontal stone which IMO spoils an otherwise perfect background wall. Perhaps next time you could choose a "cleaner" part of the wall to sit her down in front off?
