I have someone interested in one of my images to use for there business cards. I have no idea what to charge or what size I should allow them. Please give me some suggestions and or tips. Thank you

Brittany

I know its a generic answer, but charge what you think it's worth.

Or maybe let them use it for free, but credit you on the card (synergistically generating business for you).

Do not take this advice, sorry but it's wrong! Matt would you do this? Your stuff looks too good to give away or undercharge.

Charging what you think it's worth is probably not what it's worth. You need to know who the person is, how big of a company/individual they are, how many they're printing, etc. It's not a random guess, it's calculated for a reason as this is commercial usage.

NEVER let them use it free, the whole credit for the image to generate business is complete and utter BULL CRAP!! Nobody reads the darn thing and nobody cares about it, not to mention why would this person want to put someone else website on their business cards? VistaPrint does this and I pay the extra to get it removed when using them (I switched to a diff. company since using them though).
