Good day,

About a month ago I purchased the Canon A95 after reading reviews on affordable digital cameras with great quality.

The other day I was experimenting with different shooting modes on a subject with poor lighting so the flash was required. On two different modes I am getting a difference in hue on the picture and was wondering if it is normal. I used AUTO mode then I used the NIGHT SCENE mode next.

I will be attaching both pictures to this thread. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong or if this is the cause of a faulty camera.

Thanks in advance!

Hello all ...

Yes, it's normal, mine behaves exactly the same. In fact, the poorer the light, the more difference in hue you will experiment. My advice is to try and change the white balance setting to whatever environment you shoot in - I found that Tungsten setting works great indoors. I don't know if you can change the WB settting in night mode though (i never worked with it).

Hope this helps !

I avoid using flash. The second picture is nicer!
