A few planes from today

Here are a few planes from today. I found out how bad I need a longer lens too. That 250mm isn't cutting it for this location. The only place I can get a full view of the runway is a good distance from the runway. The little heat waves do look interesting in the very long shots though.

Yeah, it's a 55-250 kit lens that came bundled with the camera. I'm hoping to get a better quality lens this year.

That 250mm isn't cutting it for this location. You have some nice shots, & I like what you did in #1.

#1 is cool how the focus is on the plant but you don't really see the plant because of the plane.

It has worked so far, but I'm wanting a bit more reach. Debating on a new lens, or maybe just a 1.4x Teleconvertor for the time being. I hear the 2x teleconverters cause quality loss without being used with something like an L lens. Then again, might just go with he new lens because I'd hate to lose F stops and end up with darker shots at the full focal length.
