These are a couple of images from an e-shoot that was very challenging (and educational) for me because the couple was either totally uncomfortable being in front of the camera, or they're just not naturally very demostrative in their affection when in public. Hopefully the photos don't reveal that! The link is to my Flickr account where more are posted (Anna and Zack set) (the images do not appear as grainy & dark when I view them full size as they appear to me here & on Flickr but oh well). Thanks for looking & always receptive to C&C!

I think you captured their affection for each other well, especially since you felt they were uneasy demonstrating it. The one thing that stood out for me is the use of vignetting. I do like vignettes to draw attention to the subject but it seemed like nearly all the images had a vignette, which I felt was too many.

Nice E-session!

Thank you! It's my favorite of the shoot.

I appreciate your post. I do tend to use more vignetting, but it's because it seems my clients like it so much! Maybe I need to start including 2 copied, one without and one with.

If it seems I captured their affection, then I really did my job! It wasn't just me that thought they were kind of aloof and awkward with each other; my husband helps me, and he usually puts even the most up-tight person at ease, but he said afterwards they were the toughest job we've had yet. Thanks for your comments!

I like them:) It is hard when you have a couple that are shy or just dont know how to hang out and have fun plus be a little romantic in front of a camera..I just did some last month, my brother's engagement in fact..and he hated his pic taken, made it very hard!!

Thank you. What's so funny considering this couple's stand-offishness is the bride-to-be's remark when she saw the photos: "These are great! They really capture mine and (guy's name) relationship.".....say whaaaa? But I was glad she felt that way.
