Must have been a long and tiring drive getting there Terry

I love that place. I drive past all the time to and fro to London and each time my heart skips a beat thinking about what those stones must have witnessed over the years.

There's a company that runs tours from London out to Stonehenge. The tours take place in the early morning and late evening before and after the monument opens to the public and you get to cross the ropes and actually walk up and touch the stones. We went on the morning tour and it was spectacular to see the stones in the early morning light. The down side is the tour leaves from central London so you have to be up *really* early. We have a very knowledgeable tour guide and the sight was awesome.

Great shots, bring back good memories of our visit there in 1988.

great shoots
#1 have yuo thought about a slight crop to lhs - may help to balance
#2 I would crop the bottom to just above where the grass changes colour & then may need a slight crop on top to balance - but maybe not

apologies if you did not want and CC

I'll be honest, if I ever go to the UK, stonehenge is on the bottom of my list to see. We got rocks in Alberta, everything from marking stones to Rocky moutains. But I always like to see pictures of it. Sort of an interesting thing it is.
