if you've got a few minutes, i wouldn't mind hearing some feedback about my concert photography portfolio, as I updated it last night after not touching it for at least a year. i hope i've got a good mix of material, both in composition, content, name recognition, and post-processing options.
since i use the lightbox script, there's not a handy URL to link...you've got select the 'portfolio' button on the right hand side, and then use your mouse (on either side of the photo) or keyboard arrows to move from image to image. i do like the ease of using lightbox (both in set up for me, and how it's presented on the screen), so i am not interested in changing it for something else.

The folio itself is awesome...there's some really compelling images there, which I'd expect from you.
While the website is easy to navigate, I find it a little too minimalist, and I tend to prefer minimalist style. I'm all for letting your work do the talking, but the site looks a little drab to me.
Also, on my huge monitor at full screen the content spreads wider than it needs to. I've a attached a screen grab to demonstrate, I hope you don't mind!

thanks Angus.
yeah, sizing a website to meet all the monitor sizes out there isn't easy, and i decided to keep it on the smaller size.
i should re-check the monitor resolution data of my visitors to see if that's something i should address.

What, no one has anything to say...thats crazy to me...your port is freaking awesome! I think you have done a great composition and post processing, ect. You caught some really great moments like the one with the boss and the jesus lizard. My fav shot probably Scott Shriner.

Not only do I love your shots, but that's a mighty fancy portfolio viewer you have there for something that's non-flash =)

You could just set your index page at a fixed width (or maximum width) and center it, and then resizing wouldn't really be as much of an issue.
As for the port itself...well I think it's pretty special. ;)
I mean...I'm a fan.
