Yea Yea, I know. And I'm not expecting alot of comments on this one. It's my 20 month old Daughter. It's the first time I've shot with ISO 1600, and honestly I love the "grain" (ok ok, noise! lol) All adjustments were done in Raw, only the border (and my logo) were added in PSCS2.
Hopey you like.

nice photo - but ... honestly, the logo thing in the bottom right kills it.... totally kills it. if you are commited to having your logo on every shot you post, i would try to make it more of a "watermark" - and not an "all up in your face" kinda thing. :)
otherwise, this a fantastic shot!

You know - I was browsing through a collection of Life and National Geogrphics magazine photos and I would say at least half would have been hammered here for not being technically perfect. There was a time when the proper use of grain was viewed as being very artisitc. I think we have lost a lot of this in search of the technically perfect digital image. I love the grain...
Logo could be rethought though as it does detract from otherwise a great image. It's a hard balance... I know. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks again guys. Yea, about the logo thing. This was actually my first time EVER putting some sort of copywrite/logo in the bottom of a piece I've posted on the net. Admittedly it was hastily done. I think from now on, I'll just add a small copyright notice in the bottom corner.
Thanks again,

Yep' really nice shot and the noise/grain looks great, one of the few times I've seen digital noise look good, I wonder if it has something to do with the tones you've used....or good technique with processing?

Lol, Well if it has anything to do with good technique while processing, then it's a complete fluke!! I am very much a "newb" when it comes to processing in camera Raw. I've only been messing around with it for a couple of weeks now. As far as the tones go, I'm usually partial to very vibrant and very saturated colours, but l8tly I seem to be doing alot of low saturation, suble tones. Don't know why, maybe just a reflection of the mood I've been in...
Thank you all very much for you comments.
And BTW: Bikerider, I think we're suposed to be ecological enemies! lol.
