I went to Brookfield for a couple of hours and thought it would be a perfect opportunity to try out my new 70-200 f2.8L! These were the first pics I took with it!

When we arrived at the zoo we headed over to Wolf Woods first thing, and as luck would have it they were actively roaming about!

Unfortunately the kids were wanting to move on, otherwise I would have stayed there shooting the wolves as long as they were out, but I will say I love how sharp this lens is! Especially compared to my little old 75-300 f/4.0-5.6 III USM, the difference was spactacular!

I knew everyone loved this lens, and now I'm really starting to see why!

Thanks Lazy and Witchy! I'm planning on going back to Brookfield soon to stalk the Tamarin monkeys, which are one of my favorites. They were off exhibit when I went last weekend, I was so sad.

Congratulations on getting them. When we were at Brookfield recently, I got one shot of a wolf heading out of sight and that was it. Gone whenever we came by. They are a shy bunch!

Thanks! I was really happy to see them out and roaming around. My wife and daughter went to see the exhibit when it first opened, I guess the wolves were all currious about the glass and the building then! They wanted to know what was going on, and were right there in front of people!
