70-200 f4L :D , nice wee lens

Thx :) Not sure if I would be good enough to get in the arena, but can usually pick a decent point on the edge to get a couple of good shots.

Very clear and well timed. I took lots of horse jumping shots as a teenager and found that most editors preferred a head on shot about 10 degrees towards the light source. Long lens is good for compression and is pretty much guaranteed to get strained expressions on the riders.
Nice work, look forward to seeing more as it brings back a lot of memories for me.
Martin. :)

The way those poles were set up, I thought the horse knocked them down and thought it was weird how the top one stayed up but then I noticed. Nice shots!

In the past I would use to say you still want good light with the 70-200f4, but with the 5dmk2 and 7d you can push the limits of the iso instead and still get good shots :)
