What f stop [ for depth of field ] do you typically use when shooting action at 2ND base? I am shooting little league fields.

Myself generally the same as 1st, 3rd, outfield or the catcher. Not sure why you would want/need to change f stop for different postions.
I generally like to shoot 3.5 or 3.2 as it gives some lee way.
That being said I have not shot any BB yet this year so this may be rusty thinking. Maybe somone else can add something here.

Agreed. At 300mm, even f/4 would be OK. You still get a soft background and a good chance of getting your subjects in focus.
